Test Results

With the NHS App, you can view your test results online.

You may telephone for your own investigation results after 12noon Monday to Friday.

Samples

Samples are sent to New Cross Hospital Monday to Friday via a courier service.

If you are asked to provide a sample, please make sure it is delivered to the surgery by midday with name and date of birth on the bottle and the lid firmly on!

Patients will only be contacted by surgery staff if further action is needed, although other results can be given over the telephone.

Confidentiality

The rules governing confidentiality mean that test results will only be given to the patient, unless patient consent has already been given, or in the case of a child, to a parent or guardian.
